Party Time Part Two
We had a second birthday party for grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We are party animals in the Erickson household.
Party Time
Elsie and Margot both have August birthdays, so the shared birthday party has begun. We had a fun birthday party playdate with several friends. We enjoyed bouncing on a jumper (thanks to auntie) and having friends over for lunch.
Margot enjoying her birthday cupcake.
Brace yourself...I made these cupcakes. In case you need a cupcake translator the brown frosting is a monkey, lion on the left and tiger on the right.

The Big ONE!
Margot turned 1 August 5th! We had a great day celebrating her first birthday. Here are a few of Margot's achievements this past year: she walks like a pro, sleeps through the night (about 11 1/2 hours) and takes two good naps during the day, says mama, dada, and duck, points to things she wants, signs for more and eat, does things to make us laugh, oh and did I mention she sleeps through the night?! We have had a blast with Margot this year and are looking forward to what she will do on her way to 2!
Here's some pictures of her special day....

Best Friend Bunnies
Elsie spends about 85% of her time awake plaing with her bunnies. They go on all sorts of adventures: going to the beach, park, and having picnics Elsie's imagination is really entertaining to me. Last week I walked into her room and she was having a snack with her bunnies. The second picture will show you Elsie enjoying some crackers with her bunny buddies. The first picture is what really had me laughing...look very closely at the cracker on the bunny's high chair. There is a small bite out of the cracker that Elsie insists the bunny did all by herself!
