Pants? We don't need no stinkin' pants!

Hey Erickson Family fans, what's happening? This is Sören here, posting for the first time in a long time. For some reason, one of the girls' favorite things to do is run around the house sans pants before naptime. I guess Elsie figured out it's more comfortable to sleep with "naked legs," as she calls it. And if it's more comfortable for bedtime (or as Anne often calls it, "sleepy night-night") ... well, why wouldn't that translate to playtime? It's not uncommon for her to try to negotiate naked leg time far in advance of bedtime. And if Elsie drops trou, Margot will be damned if she's not following suit. Because as far as Margot is concerned, she's 3 years old, too.

Anyway, I particularly love the photo below because it shows a great snapshot of these crazy girls at such fun ages (18 months and 3 1/2): jazzy socks, the drool ring on Margot's shirt, the flower hair clip and a cute sister hug. Good times.

Something New...

My friend Dana was quick to remind me at Bunco last week that I haven't posted anything new in a while. (side note...I love bunco, I get to catch up with my teacher friends, drink adult beverages, eat yummy food, and play a mindless dice game. Plus sometimes I win money! $15 last week, thank you very much)

I really appreciate Dana's enthusiasm toward the blog, I guess we've just been a bit boring as of late and I haven't had much to brag/talk about. However, Dana assured me that I could write anything and post a cute picture and all would be well in the Ericskon blog world. So here it goes...

We go to an ECFE class every Friday. The girls love the open gym portion of our morning. Margot spends most of her time holding on for her life while Elsie cruises around on this bike. Don't let Margot's white-knuckle grip fool you, she loves it and does a very agitated "more" sign when Elsie slows down.
As part of our home school curriculum the girls took a ride on a city bus. Just kidding they are on the pretend bus at the Children's museum.
Looks like Margot is an overachiever when it comes to her nuks. I think I'll go out of town for a while and Soren can handle the bye-bye nuk stage. Yikes, this girl is crazy for them!
