Ready, Set, Go?
Ms. Margot is getting pretty comfortable rolling around on her tummy. I think she's going to be showing us her moves sooner than later. Watch out Elsie, it won't be long before Margot will be able to chase you when you take a toy away from her. I'm sure watching Elsie's reaction to this (she is a drama queen - I predict tears and more tears the first time Margot chases her) will almost be as funny as Margot pulling Elsie's hair. These kids are so entertaining.

Toddler Talk
I know I'm not the first mom to be entertained by the random things her toddler says, but I thought I'd share a few of our favorite Elsie thoughts as of late.

- As Elsie is dumping her cereal on the kitchen floor she says, "Dad, I'm feeding the birds."
- "Mom, Dad cut the fingernails on my toes."
- "I'm a parent. I chew gum." (I like this one because of all the things she could have said a parent does chewing gum is the most impressive to her)
Here's a few pictures of the little chatterbox...

Bathing Beauties
Margot took her first dip in a pool this weekend. She loved it. Lots of leg kicks, smiles, and giggles. Thanks Uncle Denny for sharing your pool with us!
p.s. Soren did some awesome cannon balls, but we didn't get any photos :(

Make a Match
Dear Internet Friends,
Here’s a picture to prove that our mom is starting to go crazy. Yes, we are wearing matching shirts. We also have matching jeans (thanks to auntie), matching red and yellow jammies (thanks to mom’s friend Amy) and a few other articles of clothing our mom has picked up along the way. I’m sure you are bound to see more photos of us wearing matching outfits. Oh brother, maybe it’s time for mom to go back to work!
Love,
Elsie and Margot

New Playroom!
Here’s the latest in potty training…have your child move into the bathroom and don’t let her leave until she is accident free for two days. Not true of course. This was just one of the many things that went through my mind when I walked past the bathroom and noticed Elsie had decided to set up shop in there. A few of the other things I thought of: gross, the bathroom is so dirty, where was her mother while she was carrying all these treasures to the bathroom, and get the camera.
