Margot turned 1 August 5th! We had a great day celebrating her first birthday. Here are a few of Margot's achievements this past year: she walks like a pro, sleeps through the night (about 11 1/2 hours) and takes two good naps during the day, says mama, dada, and duck, points to things she wants, signs for more and eat, does things to make us laugh, oh and did I mention she sleeps through the night?! We have had a blast with Margot this year and are looking forward to what she will do on her way to 2!
Here's some pictures of her special day....

Best Friend Bunnies
Elsie spends about 85% of her time awake plaing with her bunnies. They go on all sorts of adventures: going to the beach, park, and having picnics Elsie's imagination is really entertaining to me. Last week I walked into her room and she was having a snack with her bunnies. The second picture will show you Elsie enjoying some crackers with her bunny buddies. The first picture is what really had me laughing...look very closely at the cracker on the bunny's high chair. There is a small bite out of the cracker that Elsie insists the bunny did all by herself!

Margot Screams For...
ICE CREAM…especially when you take it away. Here are a few pictures of Margot devouring an ice cream sandwich. I wish the event was on video. I will try my best to give the highlights of Margot’s first ice cream treat. My mom, a.k.a. grandma, was opening up an ice cream sandwich, which immediately alerted Margot that something really tasty was about to come out of the little white bag my mom was holding. Margot hightailed it over to my mom’s side and gave a few grunting noises. Being the nice grandma that she is, my mom offered Margot a taste of ice cream. Margot replied by grabbing the treat out of my mom’s hands, crawling away very quickly to the Dora couch and began eating the ice cream sandwich like a pro. This girl cracks me up!

Happy Father's Day
OK, I’m a few weeks or maybe a month behind on making a Father’s Day post but it’s been sunny outside, I’ve been reading some great books, and General Hospital is starting to get good again, so the blog has suffered. The ladies are very lucky to have a fantastic dad and I thought I’d share a few pictures of Sören doing what he does best: being a Dad.
